We have an upcoming Collaborative Session for Patient Identity Management on August 24 at 8 - 9 am EDT | 12-1:30 pm UTC / 2-3:30 pm SAST.

This Patient Identity Management session will feature a couple community volunteers informally sharing specific challenges and solutions they have encountered using Biometrics for patient identity management.

This will continue the conversations surrounding patient identity management experiences that have started taking place within the DUC and OpenHIE community meetings.

We look forward to great discussion and feedback that will assist in further development of a Patient Identity Management Toolkit to depict best practices.

This session will feature a couple community members informally sharing their experiences, challenges, and successes surrounding the use of biometrics for patient identity management.

A discussion for feedback and questions will follow the informal presentations. Feedback given will be added to a draft of the work completed so far and work to further develop a ‘toolkit’ or repository for best practices.
